It is hard to ignore the buzz about data analytics. The appeal of big data and people analytics are gaining popularity in businesses as we become increasingly comfortable with the work of it. It is likely to take the centre stage or if not, a significant part of our future decision-making processes.

Since the conception of big data analytics in the workplace, it has proven to be more than a fad for its potential for growth and impact on business. The astounding volume of data speaks for itself – making it possible to capture real-time data and integrating the information for a ‘live’ analysis. We get to see activities in perspectives that could have gone unnoticed by the human eye.
