Global Talent Competitiveness Index 2015-16 Reveals Openness in Terms of Talent Mobility as Essential

The Global Talent Competitiveness Index, organised by INSEAD with HCLI and Adecco, was originally launched at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. INSEAD hosted the Asia launch on 26th January 2016. The GTCI 2015-16 ranked 109 countries according to their talent competitiveness

This year’s theme, Talent Attraction and International Mobility, highlights that mobility is essential to fill skill gaps. The GTCI shows that countries that rank highly have positioned themselves as sought-after destinations for highly-skilled workers.

During the presentation, Dr Paul Evans explained that brain gain and brain drain are 20th century terms and that brain circulation is the current trend. Mobility is essential to creative talent being fully developed.
