Birthdays are a time to celebrate, to both reflect on what we've accomplished and look forward to where we want to be. And who doesn’t love a party theme? As Singapore celebrates its 52nd year of independence, its theme is #OneNationTogether. National Day Parade, the organisation which organises the celebrations, explains the two parts of the theme: “‘One Nation’ is to remind Singaporeans that regardless of origin and background, we belong as one people and one nation. It encourages Singaporeans to harness our diversity and to leave no one behind as we strive towards an even brighter future. ‘Together’ emphasises the importance of unity in times of uncertainty and challenges ahead and represents a call-to-action for all Singaporeans to overcome the odds together.”

At HCLI, we feel the importance of unifying in times of uncertainty. Next month, we will be hosting the Singapore Human Capital Summit with the Ministry of Manpower. We’ll be covering themes and gaining insights on topics like leading in turbulent times, trust in crisis, facing fear and division, building next-generation organisations, and purposeful and passionate business. You can find out more about the speakers and schedule here. We hope that you will join us.
